Welcome to my site Aging and Thriving. I hope you will find lots of helpful information here and that you also enjoy the content.
I was a teacher, then after retirement took on managing a lodge for tourists visiting our beautiful area. Last year the Lodge burnt down and I lost 5 years of work. After feeling sorry for myself for a while I decided it was time to pick myself up, dust myself down and start over.
I am only 70 years old so not ready to lie down and die, I am still active and I want to build an online business now and then help others in my position to do the same.
I have 3 adult children, 6 grandsons, a grand daughter and 1 great grand son.
I love life and I aim to keep fit and healthy as long as I can.
I want to help others achieve their goals.
Since joining Wealthy Affiliate mid July 2017 I have learned an amazing amount in the time since then.
While in WA I have learned how to build my own website and I now have 6 functional websites and 3 online stores.
I could not have achieved that without the teaching and assistance I received for the WA community,
Now I want to help others achieve success online using Wealthy Affiliate as a valuable springboard.
WA is a giving community and I have always felt there is more joy in giving so now it is my time to give back a little of what I have received.
The Aim of This Site
In this site Aging and Thriving my aim is to help other retirees or older people find a way to keep their minds and bodies active, to maintain optimin health and to earn some extra money to help them enjoy their senior years. None of us want to end up on the scrap heap the moment we retire from regular work.
Aging and thriving looks at building a bucket list, financial goals to help finance the bucket lst, and some useful tips on fitness and nutrition. It also offers an entry into Wealthy Affiliate. I encourage you to take up the opportunity to build an online business and leave it as a legacy to your children.
I have tried to keep a little humor in the site and make it use friendly
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will do my best to help you out.
All the best,
